Role summary

Morgan & Morgan seeks a Pre-Suit Maritime Attorney in South Florida to manage pre-litigation maritime cases. Responsibilities include guiding clients, drafting documents, reviewing liability, overseeing negotiations, and managing a team of Case Managers. The role requires a law degree, active FL State Bar membership, maritime or personal injury experience, excellent client service, communication, and leadership skills. The firm offers competitive compensation with base salary, monthly and uncapped bonuses, and a full benefits package, including medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off. This is an onsite position.

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Attorney to join our South Florida Maritime group. This is an opportunity to grow and develop your maritime litigation practice at one of the pre-eminent litigation firms in the country.

Our law firm's competitive compensation includes a base salary, monthly bonuses based on KPIs, and uncapped bonuses for generating business, as well as a full benefits package. Additionally, each Pre-suit Attorney will have a case staff assisting them, including multiple dedicated case managers.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
  • Guide clients through the case process
  • Drafting of pre-litigation documents
  • Review of liability
  • Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
  • Manage a team of Case Managers
  • EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements
  • Requirements

  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school
  • An active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association
  • Maritime or personal injury experience
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  • Desire to become part of a team
