Role summary
Mosaic is seeking a Founding Product Engineer to work at the intersection of design, AI, and storytelling, building user-facing features for AI-powered video editing tools. This role involves full-stack development (React, TypeScript, Node.js), rapid prototyping, and close collaboration with founders and the research team. The ideal candidate is passionate about product quality, creative tooling, and fast iteration, with experience or strong interest in applied AI, media, or creative tools. This is a remote, full-time position focused on end-to-end feature development.
**What You’ll Do**
As a Product Engineer at Mosaic, you’ll work at the intersection of design, AI, and storytelling to bring new creative tools to life. You’ll build and ship user-facing features that push the boundaries of what’s possible in AI-powered video editing — from real-time workflows and interactive canvases to intelligent editing agents that understand intent.
You’ll collaborate closely with the founders and research team to translate user feedback into elegant product experiences, working across the full stack to prototype, test, and iterate quickly. Every line of code you write will directly shape how creators and teams edit video in the age of AI.

* Are self-directed, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Prefer solving problems end-to-end — from idea to deployed feature
