About the Role

Join a dynamic and industry-leading AI, Analytics, and Cybersecurity team at the forefront of risk mitigation for a top financial technology company. The Senior AI Security Analyst will play a vital role in evaluating risks, monitoring AI model performance, conducting in-depth data investigations, and ensuring the security and integrity of advanced Generative AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess AI models and risk controls, continuously evaluating the cyber risk landscape through deep data analysis, business insights, and expert human judgment.
  • Investigate suspicious events, anomalies, and attacks targeting Generative AI, APIs, and financial data, identifying vulnerabilities and gaps in existing controls.
  • Monitor and report on policy and AI model performance, tracking measurable metrics and communicating key trends and emerging threats to stakeholders.
  • Aggregate and analyze data using Python and SQL, leveraging statistical methodologies to provide actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain analytical dashboards to represent key security and risk metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data science and analytics teams, providing critical insights related to cyberthreats and risk controls.
  • Deliver reports and risk impact assessments for internal teams and stakeholders, enabling proactive decision-making around threat management.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in quantitative analysis using SQL and Python.
  • 2+ years in cybercrime, fraud, military intelligence, cybersecurity, or similar fields that require investigating adversarial activity.
  • Experienced with dashboarding tools for analytics and monitoring.
  • Strong skills in statistical analysis and data aggregation.
  • Proven ability to track and report on the performance of AI models and risk policies.
  • Experience identifying gaps in security controls and deploying effective monitoring solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Generative AI, LLM models, and their associated risks.
  • Experience with API communication protocols (HTTP, REST, GraphQL).
  • Background in E-commerce and Payments environments.
  • Collaboration experience with data science teams.

Additional Information

  • Hybrid role based in Mountain View, CA (3 days per week onsite required).
  • This position is open due to replacement of a previous request and is not accepting candidates submitted for previous similar roles.
