Product Manager- AI Coach(Remote)
Role summary
We are seeking an AI Coach Product Manager to lead the design of an innovative AI-driven, real-time physical coaching system for racing. This role involves leveraging sim racing hardware, telemetry data, and AI algorithms to create an intelligent training system that actively guides, corrects, and teaches drivers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software development or product management, a deep understanding of AI principles and driver learning behavior, and a passion for sim racing or motorsport. Key responsibilities include defining system architecture, coaching logic, and feedback mechanisms, working closely with AI and control engineers to bring this cutting-edge product to life.
Role Description
We are building a new way for people to learn racing — not through passive data or video analysis, but through AI-driven, real-time, physical coaching.
MOZA AI Coach is an intelligent driving training system that combines:
- Reinforcement learning–trained AI drivers (as reference and control agents)
- Real-time telemetry interpretation and driving intent analysis
- Direct physical guidance through steering torque and pedal feedback
We are looking for an AI Coach Product Manager to lead the design of this closed-loop training system, where AI not only analyzes driving, but actively guides, corrects, and teaches through hardware interaction.
In this role, you will be the part of team responsible for the full lifecycle of the AI Coach product. By leveraging sim racing hardware, telemetry data, and AI algorithms, you will build an intelligent coaching system that supports drivers at all levels — from beginners to professionals.
Qualifications:
- Strong passion for sim racing or real-world motorsport, with competitive lap times. On a standard ~2-minute circuit, lap time delta to professional drivers should be within 1.5 seconds.
- Strong technical background, with long-term experience in software development or product management. Able to translate product requirements into technical requirements and design software/system architectures.
- Deep understanding of driver learning behaviorAble to independently create UX prototypes and guide UI designers in delivering high-quality interfaces.
- Understand how drivers improve: braking points, racing lines, throttle modulation, consistency
- Able to design training flows across different skill levels (beginner → advanced)
- AI-related technical background, with a deep understanding of core AI principles. The ability to communicate effectively with AI engineers from a product perspective is crucial. You should be able to assess the potential and limitations of AI algorithms in the context of racing simulation scenarios, ensuring that the technical solutions truly serve the educational logic of the product.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the AI coaching system architecture
- Design coaching logic and intervention strategies
- Translate driving knowledge into system behavior
- Define telemetry interpretation and data models
- Design real-time feedback system
- Work closely with AI and control engineers
- Define evaluation and improvement metrics
