ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Testing and analyzes network systems development including integration, systems testing, probability testing, field test plans and customer acceptance plans to maintain the credibility/viability of the system
- Document test discrepancies and author change requests as required
- Maintains existing test processes and documentation to ensure adequate record-keeping and knowledge-sharing
- Organize and maintain baseline regression procedures in support of operational releases
- Investigate and report complex operational matters of significance in conjunction with other engineering and technical support to ensure cost effective and efficient resolution to problems
- Support leads on complex systems; determines system requirements; recommends process and/or programs, coordinates project team and follows through on implementation
- Assist Test Team in developing test plans, procedures and tools
- Conducts customer-witnessed testing
- Ensuring high quality solutions by implementing unit tests and supporting the creation and design of integration, load and user acceptance tests
- Support Operational patch testing, includes system and adaptation changes
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using software testing tools such as RTC, RQM, DOORs and SQL
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Hands-on experience developing web applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Experience in roles that required demonstration of excellent communication and writing skills
- Basic experience with performing scalability and performance testing
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge
- Experience with end-to-end system verification and validation
- Time management, priority allocation and task management skills
- Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to travel when required
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field is preferred)
