SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

AIRLINE COMPANY

ROLE IS BASED IN GREATER SEATTLE AREA, WA, AND HYBRID ON-SITE

$69-$73/hr COMPENSATION RATE (depending on experience)

THE CLIENT

Our client is a large airline company.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
  • Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
  • Support test and deployment of new products and features
  • Participate in code reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Duration:
April 13 to start, to run through 12/2026, with a chance to extend.

Location:
SeaTac, WA. Team is open to hybrid onsite or fully remote work, as long as candidates are not in the East Coast time zone.

Daily Schedule:
M-F, 40 hours a week, no OT anticipated.

Hardware:
Client will provide.

Role Requirements:
Client requires a background test & a drug screen before start.

Languages and frameworks:

  • C#.Net & .Net Core development
  • Web API/REST
  • SQL & T-SQL
  • iOS is a plus but not required

Experience with tools:

  • Visual Studio 2022 and newer
  • VS Code
  • Git
  • Microsoft Azure Portal
  • Azure DevOps (ADO)

Experience with the following Azure tools and technologies:

  • App Insights
  • Azure App Service
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure SQL
  • Key Vault
  • Service Bus

CI/CD:

  • Azure DevOps - YAML and Classic Pipeline definitions
  • Azure Resource Management (ARM) definition
  • Build Management

Architecture/Design patterns and concepts:

  • Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Inversion of Control (IoC)/Dependency Injection (DI)
  • Separation of Concern
