AWS Cloud Engineer – Terraform / Kubernetes
We’re working with an AWS Partner that specialises in building modern cloud platforms for technology companies.
Their engineering teams work closely with client product teams on projects ranging from Kubernetes platform builds and infrastructure automation through to modernising existing AWS environments and improving reliability across production systems.
The focus is less on basic migrations and more on helping companies operate cloud infrastructure properly at scale.
Engineers typically work across a small number of projects where the work involves designing AWS infrastructure, building platform tooling and improving how engineering teams run and deploy software.
Responsibilities
• Design and build AWS infrastructure supporting production workloads
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Build and operate Kubernetes platforms on AWS
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
• Help modernise existing cloud environments and infrastructure architecture
• Implement monitoring, logging and observability across systems
• Work with engineering teams to improve reliability and scalability

Background
This role suits engineers currently working in cloud engineering, DevOps or platform roles within AWS consulting environments.
Many successful candidates come from AWS Partners, cloud consultancies or infrastructure engineering teams supporting AWS-based platforms.
Experience designing AWS infrastructure and working with Infrastructure as Code is typically expected.
