Role summary

We are seeking a Content Data Analyst to manage and analyze product catalogue data within the Auto Parts Division. The role involves ensuring data accuracy and validity by analyzing supplier item attributes, enforcing GPC data standards with NAPA suppliers, and providing insights on missing content and product comparisons. Key responsibilities include verifying content between product lines to prevent sales losses and managing supplier relationships regarding data policies. The ideal candidate will have a degree with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and bilingualism in French and English. Experience with automotive standards like ACES and PIES is a plus.

Job Description

  • Analyze supplier item attributes and specifications to ensure data validity and accuracy.
  • Ensure NAPA suppliers adhere to GPC data standards by managing supplier relationships and overseeing the creation, validation, and consistency of product class codes (MPCC) and common attributes.
  • Provide analysis on missing content, asset management, and product comparisons.
  • Verify content between Premium and Value product lines to prevent sales losses.
  • Manage the GPC discrepancy policy with NAPA suppliers.

Under the hood
To Join Our Team, You Need

  • Degree with a minimum of 2 years in a similar position.
  • Experience with automotive standards “ACES” and “PIES” (an asset).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and the ability to learn to work with the GPC PIM (Product Information System) catalog.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, as you will need to collaborate with colleagues and clients across Canada.
