POSITION SUMMARYThe Natera Test Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless testing experience forpatients. This position is responsible for coordinating patient testing services, performingphlebotomy, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring all requireddocumentation and compliance standards are met.In this role, you will collaborate closely with clinic staff, patients, Sales, and internaloperations teams to support efficient ordering processes and timely reporting of results.The ideal candidate thrives in an independent work environment, demonstrates strongcritical thinking and multitasking abilities, and is committed to delivering exceptionalpatient care and operational excellence.This is a clinic-based role located in Louisville, KY.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPhlebotomy Services• Perform venipunctures to obtain blood specimens with precision, professionalism, andpatient care focus.• Verify patient identity and test requisitions by cross-referencing electronic medicalrecords (EMR) and resolving discrepancies as needed.• Maintain specimen integrity by following aseptic techniques, department protocols, andinfection prevention procedures.• Accurately document specimen collection details, including date, time, and collectoridentification, while maintaining daily collection logs.• Ensure proper handling, packaging, and shipment of specimens according to laboratoryand regulatory requirements.Patient Care Coordination• Coordinate patient care services to support efficient, high-quality healthcare delivery.• Manage administrative responsibilities including scheduling appointments, accessingpatient records, and coordinating blood draw timing with clinic workflows.• Collaborate with Field Sales and internal operations teams to support continuity of careand patient satisfaction.• Build and maintain positive relationships with patients and clinic staff to encourageongoing testing compliance and a positive patient experience.• Communicate proactively regarding delays, redraw requests, cancellations, or missinginformation to minimize disruptions in turnaround times.

Administrative and Operational Support• Serve as a primary liaison between assigned accounts, clinic personnel, and Sales teams.• Document all communications, follow-ups, and issue resolutions accurately and timely.• Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries and escalate issuesappropriately when needed.• Investigate and resolve operational issues by identifying root causes and communicatingresolutions clearly and professionally.Quality Assurance and Compliance• Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and all applicable federal, state, andlocal regulations.• Adhere to Natera policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure accurate andtimely testing processes.• Maintain quality control documentation and support ongoing process improvementinitiatives.• Ensure a safe and compliant clinical environment while following infection prevention andworkplace safety protocols.QUALIFICATIONS• Minimum of 5–7 years of phlebotomy experience required.• Oncology experience strongly preferred.• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.• Current phlebotomy certification required, as applicable by state regulations.• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with patients, clinicpersonnel, and internal teams.Employment and Compliance RequirementsEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment and clinic-specific compliance requirements, which may include, but are not limited to:• Criminal background screening and employment verification• Drug and alcohol screening• Verification of licensure, certifications, and clinical competencies• Immunization records and/or immunity titers• TB testing and respiratory mask fit testing, if required• Pre-employment physical examination, if applicable• Completion of required compliance, safety, infection prevention, and facility onboardingtraining• Professional references and performance verification• Any additional clinic, facility, or regulatory onboarding requirements necessary for patientcare access

Failure to meet or maintain required compliance standards may impact employmenteligibility or assignment placement.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare environment.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.• Excellent communication, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining accuracy andprofessionalism.• Proficiency with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and related healthcare technologyplatforms preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT• Clinic-based work environment requiring adherence to safe clinical practices and use ofappropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).• Scrubs may be required based on clinic policy.• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.• Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.• Work schedule may vary based on clinic operational needs and patient volume.
