Job Summary

Under the direction of the Manager, Web and Digital Media, the Web Developer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, updating, maintaining, and implementing NGC websites and web products following current technology standards, and for offering technical advice on best practices. Web Team members will regularly update each other on project progress, share insights, and discuss any challenges they encounter using communications tools like Teams or project management software.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

• Superior knowledge of and experience with Web development software – AWS, CloudFlare, Bitbucket Drupal, PHP, ReactJS, NodeJS, MS Azure.

• Excellent Knowledge of web accessibility standards

• Superior knowledge of and experience with multiple operating systems and numerous productivity software suites and applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creativity Suite, etc.;

• Good knowledge of and experience with the older Drupal content management system;

• Good Knowledge of API development;

• Proficiency in mobile first modern accessibly standards;

• Knowledge of MailChimp;

• Good Knowledge of the Google Analytics statistics;
