### Position Overview

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced Kubernetes Security Analyst to support the security, stability, and resilience of a containerized platform environment. This role focuses on securing an existing Kubernetes-based system by validating architecture, enforcing best practices, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to assess configurations, implement security controls, and strengthen the overall security posture of the platform. This is a hands-on role centered on protection, monitoring, and governance—not initial system build.

### Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and secure Kubernetes architecture and configurations
  • Implement and manage RBAC, network policies, and access controls
  • Enforce container security practices (image scanning, runtime protection, secure deployments)
  • Manage secrets securely (tokens, credentials, key management)
  • Establish and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
  • Perform vulnerability management and risk assessments
  • Support incident response and security operations workflows
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices

### Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture and security
  • Hands-on experience with container security in cloud or hybrid environments
  • Experience with:
  • Image scanning & runtime protection
  • Secure deployment practices
  • RBAC implementation and management
  • Kubernetes network policies
  • Secrets management
  • Logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
  • Knowledge of:
  • Cybersecurity principles (defense-in-depth, least privilege)
  • Vulnerability management and risk mitigation
  • Incident response processes
  • Ability to assess and validate system security and architecture

### Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with tools such as Falco, Prisma Cloud, Aqua, or Sysdig
  • Familiarity with CIS Kubernetes Benchmarks
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., government, healthcare)
  • Certifications such as CKS, CISSP, or similar
  • Understanding of DevSecOps and CI/CD security integration

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
