Our client is building an AI-driven platform focused on improving how organizations detect and investigate complex security threats. Their technology autonomously analyzes large volumes of data across multiple environments to identify meaningful behavioral patterns, rather than relying solely on traditional indicators.

Position Overview

As the first Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end design of the product, from early discovery through to production. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, domain experts, and customers to deliver intuitive and impactful user experiences.

This role requires a balance of strong systems thinking and attention to detail. You will define workflows, bring clarity to complex datasets, and design experiences that guide users toward actionable insights.

This position is well-suited to someone who thrives in ambiguity, iterates quickly, and can translate loosely defined ideas into structured product experiences. You will also play a key role in establishing design processes and building a design system.

Expected Impact

• Own the full product design lifecycle, from discovery to production
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex workflows into intuitive user experiences
• Design systems and flows that help users navigate high-volume, complex datasets
• Continuously iterate based on user and customer feedback
• Build trust in AI-driven features by clearly communicating reasoning, evidence, and confidence
• Establish and evolve a scalable design system to ensure consistency

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing enterprise SaaS products end-to-end, ideally in a startup environment
• Experience working on complex or data-intensive products (e.g., cybersecurity or similar domains)
• Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts into intuitive user experiences
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and shaping direction from high-level inputs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

• Experience building a design system from the ground up
• Experience designing AI-driven or agent-based workflows, or demonstrated interest through side projects or exploration
