Software Engineer I (Sustaining Engineering)

We are looking for a
Software Engineer I
who can assist in the analysis, investigation, and resolution of platform production items to support neighbors (clients), client-success, and client-support teams. This role focuses on maintaining system stability, executing tactical data updates, and learning the architecture of an enterprise SaaS platform.

This role is open to
ONLY
candidates currently based in Georgia or those willing to relocate to the Atlanta metro area.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

Feature & Code Delivery

  • Implement well-defined features, fixes, and enhancements following established coding standards and SDLC processes
  • Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality and consistency
  • Support small automation or tooling enhancements for repetitive tasks

Support, Troubleshooting &Operations

  • Investigate and resolve assigned support tickets and basic production defects
  • Perform initial debugging, contribute to RCA documentation for moderate-severity issues, and escalate complex cases appropriately
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely, clear updates during incident handling

Collaboration & Process Alignment

  • Work with Product, QA, Security, DevOps, and Client-Facing teams to clarify requirements and support issue investigations
  • Follow established communication and incident-management processes to ensure consistent, reliable handoffs and responsiveness
  • Contribute to maintaining documentation related to features, fixes, and operational learnings

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET, React, Azure Services(preferred) or AWS
  • Exposure to services in Azure (or equivalent in AWS): ADF, API-Management, Service Bus, Power BI, Azure Functions
  • Experience working with monitoring tools App Insights etc.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, SDLC Tools like JIRA/Confluence
  • Ability to debug and fix application issues
