Staff Software Engineer - Accounts
Role summary
NetDocuments is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the security and identity foundation for their platform. This hands-on role involves driving architecture, design, and delivery of authentication, authorization, and access control systems for a global customer base. Responsibilities include writing production code, setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across teams on complex identity and access management challenges. The ideal candidate will have expert proficiency in C#/.NET, strong experience with microservices and event-driven architectures on AWS, and deep knowledge of IAM concepts. Experience with Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), and observability tools like Datadog is required. Preferred qualifications include expertise in advanced access control models, IdP platforms, security risk management, and compliance frameworks.

Compensation Transparency
The compensation range for this position is: $170,000 - $190,000
The posted cash compensation for this position includes on target earnings, base salary and variable if applicable. Some roles may qualify for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are determined based on various factors specific to each candidate, such as career level, skills, experience, geographic location, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
