## Purpose of Position

The Flight Operations IT domain manages applications for business capabilities relating to flight scheduling, trip support, and flight support. This developer position will work within the Flight Support team with responsibilities across all supported applications. Flight Support works with business partners including Flight Mission Delivery, Dispatch, and Meteorology. Our business partners rely on us to ensure 'day of flight' operations are safely planned and ready for take-off. The Flight Support team plans, develops, and tests work within a two-week sprint.

## Tasks and Responsibilities

The Developer/Analyst, Senior role works on a team designing, analysis, developing, testing, and supporting new feature software or enhancements to existing software for a complex business model. Role includes meeting with customers to understand their business processes and needs with the objective of determining solutions to support the business and build new solutions. This will require filling multiple roles to turn the customer's needs into valued solutions. Takes initiative, owns issues from start to finish, and a proactive communicator.

  • 60% Software analysis, design, testing (automated and manual), and development for new features, regulatory requirements, or system enhancements
  • 20% Support, technical debt, and securing existing software systems
  • 20% Team and business facing communication
