About The Role
As a Data Analyst II at SimplePractice, you will be instrumental in shaping our data-driven culture and driving strategic decision-making across the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement advanced analytics solutions that uncover insights, optimize operations, and support product development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Design to translate complex data into actionable recommendations that enhance business performance and customer experience.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in SQL, data visualization, and statistical modeling to influence key business outcomes. You will lead complex data analysis projects, design and maintain dashboards, and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have at least 7+ years of experience in data analysis and analytics. Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python is essential for extracting and transforming large datasets. Experience with BI tools like Tableau or similar visualization platforms is required for creating insightful dashboards and reports. Strong analytical skills, including predictive modeling and advanced analytics techniques, are necessary to interpret complex data and forecast trends.
Excellent communication skills are vital for translating technical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels. Strong project management and organizational skills are also important to handle multiple projects effectively. Responsibilities

  • Lead complex data analysis projects across multiple business units, managing the entire workflow from requirements gathering to final recommendations.
  • Design and execute advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from various sources while ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain statistical models and dashboards to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and generate actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to deliver data-driven solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Effectively communicate insights and analysis results to stakeholders, highlighting opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Mentor junior analysts and work with data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure and accessibility.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of business metrics, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and innovation.
