About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team remotely from Washington, DC. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in enhancing our digital presence by developing and maintaining our web platforms. The ideal candidate will bring over five years of experience in front-end development and WordPress customization, with a strong proficiency in React and modern build workflows. Your expertise will contribute to creating engaging, responsive, and SEO-optimized websites that align with our organizational goals. This role emphasizes collaborative work, technical excellence, and delivering high-performance web solutions that support our educational initiatives and outreach efforts.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on WordPress and custom theme/plugin development.
• Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Experience with modern build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
