About The Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer at Casap, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions that transform dispute management and fraud detection processes within banking institutions. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of how financial disputes are evaluated and resolved, leveraging cutting-edge machine learning techniques. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and technology, contributing to a product that is redefining industry standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and engineers to build scalable, reliable, and intelligent systems. Your expertise will help in creating a seamless, automated decision-making process that enhances user experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing and deploying machine learning models in a high-scale production environment.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and data analysis techniques.
• Enthusiastic about building ML infrastructure from scratch in a nascent environment.
• Ability to think like a product engineer, balancing technical innovation with practical application and user needs.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or similar, and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models to evaluate disputes, chargebacks, and the likelihood of fraud.
• Create and manage an orchestration layer for multiple models, enabling automated and supervised decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage valuable data from partners and customers, ensuring a continuously learning experience and first-class user experience.
• Monitor and optimize model performance, ensuring robustness and accuracy in production environments.
• Document model development processes and maintain best practices for reproducibility and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and incorporate innovative techniques to enhance product capabilities.
