About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer to join our remote team supporting a critical federal cloud program. This role is pivotal in developing, integrating, and maintaining cloud-based applications and services within OCI and multi-cloud environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud solutions that underpin mission-critical systems. The OCI Engineer will work closely with cloud engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and ensure system alignment with strategic objectives and security standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact government projects, leveraging advanced cloud technologies to improve operational efficiency and security.
Qualifications

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven experience supporting cloud-based application development and integration.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and cloud system operations.
  • DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required).
  • One or more cloud certifications (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, analyze, and modify software supporting cloud-based applications and services to meet operational requirements.
  • Support the implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance of OCI and multi-cloud solutions.
  • Design and customize cloud software to enhance performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cloud engineering and operations teams to ensure system functionality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across cloud applications and services promptly.
  • Participate in the ongoing modernization and enhancement of cloud environments to meet evolving mission needs.
  • Contribute to comprehensive system documentation, integration planning, and operational support activities.
  • Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to security standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
