Program Manager - Community Crisis (Weekend)
Role summary
The Program Manager - Community Crisis (Weekend) is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of a mobile crisis data platform, including user account creation, dispatch management, and case disposition updates. This role supports mobile crisis response teams by confirming team member availability and coordinating assessments with clinical staff. The Program Manager will also manage staffing schedules for the Crisis Receiving Center (CRC) interdisciplinary team, ensuring full coverage, and will handle inventory of CRC supplies and food. Additionally, the role involves distributing organizational marketing materials and organizing resources for individuals served. This is an onsite, part-time position requiring weekend work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
- Manage agency’s administrative mobile crisis data platform account
- Create and manage user accounts in data platform for MCR case managers
- Interact with data platform as necessary to accept and assign dispatches
- Follow up with data platform to update case dispositions within 48 hours
- Support mobile crisis response teams
- Confirm the location and availability status of team members for dispatches daily
- Coordinate assessments with clinical staff as needed
- Conduct case assignments as needed to assure all approved cases are assigned and properly staffed
- Collaborate with nursing staff, mental health professionals, and other providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Manage staffing schedules of Crisis Receiving Center (CRC) interdisciplinary team to maintain full coverage for all roles and responsibilities of the program
- Take inventory of CRC supplies and food and place orders as necessary
- Collect and distribute printed marketing from the organization and wrap around service providers to individuals served
- Collect and organize resources for distribution to individuals served in need
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- An active QMHP or LMHP certification from the Virginia Board of Counseling
- Emergency crisis response or institutional experience working with individuals experiencing psychiatric emergencies
- Strong background in program management and development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make critical decisions
- Knowledge of best practices in crisis intervention and behavioral health services
- Experience supervising teams and coordinating resources efficiently
- Excellent leadership skills and strong ability to take initiative
- Strong organizational skills and ability to self-direct
- Experience organizing and managing large quantities of files and records
- Proficiency with MS Office program and ability to create spreadsheets with Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and produce high quality and accurate work
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
OFFICE SCHEDULE:
Saturdays and Sundays (Two Available Shifts)
- Day Shift - 9a to 5p
- Evening Shift - 4p to 10p
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
