About the Role

NHC is expanding its managed Cloud and Security services portfolio, including SASE, SSE, and SD-WAN solutions delivered across multiple leading platforms. We are seeking a Cloud and Security Engineer to serve as a senior technical individual contributor responsible for enabling, standardizing, and supporting cloud and security services across the organization.

This role focuses on technical ownership, service readiness, and escalation-level support, working closely with Product, Service Delivery, Solutions Assurance, and Sales Engineering to ensure cloud and security offerings are scalable, supportable, and operationally sound.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert for cloud and security platforms.
• Design and maintain reference architecture, implementation standards, and best practices for cloud and security services.
• Lead technical engagement with strategic technology vendors, including onboarding, certification alignment, roadmap review, and lifecycle management.
• Support product readiness activities, including technical validation, onboarding processes, and service handoff documentation.
• Act as a technical liaison between Product Management, Service Delivery, Solutions Assurance, and Sales Engineering.
• Assist Sales Engineering with complex or non-standard customer designs as needed.
• Provide Tier-3 escalation support for complex cloud and security issues, driving root cause resolution and systemic improvement.
• Identify gaps in tooling, documentation, or processes that impact service quality or scalability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend additions to the managed services portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, network security, or managed services environments.
• Hands-on experience with at least two of the following platforms: VeloCloud, Fortinet, Netskope.
• Strong understanding of SASE / SSE architectures, SD-WAN, and secure cloud connectivity.
• Experience working in multi-tenant or managed service provider environments.
• Ability to document technical designs and operational processes clearly.
• Comfortable working independently and making technical decisions.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
