Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid in New York or Boston, Senior Data Engineer role. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL processes. Additional responsibilities include developing and optimizing data models, orchestrating large-scale data integrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making. The role involves identifying new tools and techniques to improve data architecture, as well as ensuring the security and integrity of data systems.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Data Engineering, including building and maintaining scalable data pipelines
  • Strong understanding of Data Modeling principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools
  • Demonstrable experience with Data Platforms and Cloud
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in SQL and languages such as Python / Spark
  • A nice to have would be software experience or understanding
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
