Senior Product Leader — Security
Role summary
Nile is seeking a Senior Product Leader to define and drive its next-generation network security model. This strategic role will own the vision, strategy, and execution of a unified security platform, integrating secure access, threat protection, and policy enforcement. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in network security, with a strong background in product management or engineering, and deep understanding of firewalls, segmentation, ZTNA, SASE, NDR, and behavioral analytics. This hands-on leadership position requires proven experience building enterprise-scale security products and engaging in architecture and system design discussions.

We are looking for a Senior Product Leader to define and drive Nile’s next-generation network security model . This role will own the vision, strategy, and execution of a unified security platform that is integral to Nile’s architecture—delivering secure access, threat protection, and policy enforcement as intrinsic capabilities of the network.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role, requiring deep domain expertise in network security, strong product intuition, and the ability to operate at both architectural and execution levels.
### Responsibilities:
- Define the Vision
Own Nile’s network security product strategy and long-term roadmap
Re-imagine how security is delivered when it is built *into* the network rather than layered on top
Drive differentiation vs. legacy and cloud-delivered security providers
- Build a Platform, Not Features
Lead development of a unified security platform
Ensure seamless integration of:
Secure access (ZTNA / SASE-like capabilities)
Firewalling and segmentation
Threat detection and response (NDR, behavioral analytics)
Partner with engineering to make foundational architectural decisions
- Drive Execution at Scale
Translate strategy into clear product requirements and execution plans
Work cross-functionally with engineering, GTM, design, and operations
Establish metrics for adoption, efficacy, and performance
- Customer & Market Leadership
Engage with enterprise customers to validate needs and shape roadmap
Analyze competitive landscape and position Nile as a category leader
Evangelize Nile’s vision internally and externally
- Organizational Influence
Serve as a key thought partner to executive leadership on company-level strategy, specifically where networking and security intersect.
### Qualifications
#### Must-Have Experience
- 12+ years in network security , with a background in product management or engineering
- Deep, hands-on understanding of:
- Firewalls and network segmentation
- Secure access architectures (ZTNA, SASE, enterprise network security)
- Threat detection (NDR, behavioral analytics, anomaly detection)
- Proven experience building or managing enterprise-scale security products
- Strong technical depth with the ability to engage in architecture and system design discussions
Strongly Preferred
- Prior experience at leading security or networking companies (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, Netskope, Cisco, Juniper Networks, or CrowdStrike—with a focus on network/security).
- Specific experience developing or managing:
- Platform-level products (as opposed to standalone features).
- Foundational, system-level architecture and design decisions.
