Frontend Engineer

Nordic Analytics is building an institutional intelligence platform for private capital — and we're hiring a Frontend Engineer to join the founding engineering team.

Most junior frontend roles involve maintaining existing components within a large, established codebase. This role is different. You're building a product that doesn't yet fully exist, for a market that is genuinely underserved by quality software.

You'll work on the actual product interface: dashboards, financial visualizations, and the UX of a platform built for fund operators. Your work will be visible to institutional users from the first day the product launches.

This is an early-stage role with equity participation for strong contributors. We're not looking for someone to manage tickets. We're looking for someone who wants to build.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain React components for the Nordic Analytics dashboard and core platform UI
• Implement data visualization components, including financial charts, tables, and performance graphs
• Work with TypeScript to build typed, maintainable frontend code
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and real-time data feeds
• Implement responsive, accessible, and performance-conscious UI across the platform
• Collaborate on UX improvements and translate product requirements into a clean interface design
• Contribute to the dashboard module, including customizable widgets and drag-and-drop functionality

Qualifications:

• JavaScript fundamentals and working knowledge of React
• TypeScript experience or strong willingness to adopt it
• CSS proficiency with experience using Tailwind CSS or equivalent utility frameworks
• Basic API integration: REST calls, state management, asynchronous data fetching
• Attention to UI quality, component structure, and clean code standards
• Bonus: Data visualization libraries (Recharts, D3.js, Chart.js), Next.js, WebSocket-based real-time UIs, or interest in capital markets
