Role summary

Northland Floral Inc. is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage strategic relationships with national and regional retail customers. Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager owns strategic relationships with key national and regional retail customers, serving as the primary liaison between Northland Floral and customer head office stakeholders. This role builds and strengthens long-term partnerships, aligns customer and internal priorities, and ensures consistent execution of account strategies across all touchpoints.

We’re looking for a commercially minded relationship builder who combines a strong customer-service orientation with a proven ability to deliver business results, execute strategic initiatives, and grow profitable customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while representing Northland Floral’s service standards
  • Act as the key point of contact for corporate customers
  • Develop and execute customer-specific strategic plans to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Analyze account performance, identify opportunities, recommend development plans, and provide business updates
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, assortment, and merchandising programs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of customer initiatives and to identify opportunities to improve service levels, pricing, and delivery

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management
  • Experience managing relationships with mass market and high-volume customers
  • Strong analytical and business planning skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $55 - $90k; Candidates with exceptional experience may be considered beyond the stated range.
