About Noterro

We’re looking for a Product Designer who thinks in systems and experiences, not just pixels and screens. This role focuses primarily on designing and improving the user experience of our SaaS platform, working closely with Product and Engineering to shape features from concept through implementation.

A key aspect of this role is a strong interest in the emerging design-to-code landscape, where design and engineering increasingly overlap. We are looking for someone who is excited about the evolution of tools that translate structured design work directly into implementation. In this role, design artifacts are not simply static mockups.

Product collaborates closely with engineering and the rest of the business to produce structured design outputs that can translate directly into engineering ready hand-offs - whether through design systems, tokens, or emerging design-to-code workflows.

This means the ideal candidate sees Figma not just as a place to draw interfaces, but as a product development tool that directly informs how software is built.

What You’ll Do

Product Design

  • Design clear, intuitive SaaS product experiences across complex workflows.
  • Translate product ideas into structured Figma designs, flows, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to refine features through rapid iteration and feedback.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our design system and component library.
  • Prepare designs for engineering using structured components, variables, and developer-ready documentation.
  • Think beyond individual screens to improve workflow clarity, usability, and product efficiency.

Design-to-Code Collaboration

We are looking for a designer who is genuinely intrigued by and excited about the evolution of design-to-code and no-code collaboration with engineering, and who:

  • Structures Figma work in ways that translate cleanly into engineering implementation.
  • Thinks about product design through the lens of components, tokens, and reusable systems.
  • Leverages emerging tools and workflows that connect design outputs directly to code generation or UI frameworks.
  • Collaborates with engineers to ensure design systems and UI patterns are implemented consistently and efficiently.
  • Appreciates that in some cases, the most effective solution may start with system thinking or component logic before traditional screen design begins.

Cross‑Functional Design Support

  • Prepare UI visuals and product screenshots for Marketing and Growth.
  • Export or adapt product visuals for product launches, documentation, and announcements.
  • Repurpose product micro-interactions or UI motion for marketing and product storytelling.
  • Collaborate with Brand to help translate product functionality into clear visual communication.

Lottie Motion & Micro‑Interaction Design (Ideal
)

  • Design micro-interactions that improve usability and interface clarity.
  • Create lightweight motion assets using tools such as Lottie, After Effects, or equivalent motion tools.
  • Work with Engineering to ensure animations are efficient, performant, and implementation-ready.

What You Bring to The Table

Core Skills

  • 3–6 years of experience in product design for SaaS or software platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma with components, variables, and design systems.
  • Experience designing complex product workflows.
  • Comfort collaborating closely with engineering teams.
  • Ability to translate product thinking into clear, structured interface design.

UI Motion Design

  • Experience designing micro-interactions and UI motion.
  • Ability to create Lottie animations or equivalent lightweight motion assets.
  • Understanding of how motion supports usability, feedback, and interface clarity.

Design‑System Mindset

  • Thinks in systems rather than isolated screens.
  • Comfortable working with components, tokens, and structured UI patterns.
  • Curious about emerging workflows where design connects directly to implementation.
  • Enjoys collaborating closely with engineers to improve how software gets built.

How We Work

User centric product design sits at the center of product development.Product collaborates cross functionally at every stage with Engineering, Growth, Customer Success and Brand to explore ideas early, iterate quickly, and ship improvements continuously. We value clarity of experience, thoughtful interaction design, and strong collaboration over pixel-perfect mockups that exist in isolation from engineering.
