Job Summary

We are seeking a Cyber Security Product Analyst to support the
Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA)
intake process. This role will serve as the first point of contact for business partners submitting new data source requests and will ensure all proposed applications and processes meet enterprise security, compliance, and funding standards.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in reducing shadow IT risks, aligning business needs with cybersecurity policies, and driving cross-functional collaboration using ServiceNow and Jira.

Key Responsibilities

EDA Intake & Validation

  • Act as the primary point of contact for EDA intake requests.
  • Review and validate proposed data sources to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
  • Confirm appropriate funding and governance approvals are in place.

Security & Compliance Alignment

  • Gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
  • Identify risks associated with shadow IT and implement mitigation strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Drive collaboration across security, product, and data teams.
  • Manage and track security-related tasks using:
  • ServiceNow (SNOW)
  • Jira
  • Ensure timely resolution of security issues.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain clear communication with business partners and technical teams.
  • Provide documentation and reporting for leadership visibility.
  • Support audit and governance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Product Management, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • IT Security principles
  • Compliance frameworks
  • Governance processes
  • Experience in business requirement analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • ServiceNow (SNOW)
  • Jira
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of enterprise data governance practices.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating shadow IT risks.
  • Background in security operations or risk management within large enterprises.
