Role summary
Nowadays is seeking a Founding Account Executive to drive the full sales cycle for their AI-powered corporate event planning platform. This role involves prospecting, running demos, and closing deals with mid-market and enterprise clients, including meetings & events teams, people teams, and agencies. The Founding AE will also contribute to refining product messaging, pricing, and sales strategies, building the sales playbook and CRM workflows from the ground up. The ideal candidate has B2B SaaS sales experience, is comfortable with high-velocity outbound motions, and possesses strong product intuition and relationship-building skills. Experience in startup environments and selling to event, marketing, HR, or operations teams is a plus.

💼 **What You’ll Do (Founding AE)**
* Own the **full sales cycle** from prospecting to close for customers hosting retreats and meetings
* Run **discovery calls, demos, and pricing conversations** with confidence
* Shape the product by bringing **customer feedback directly into product decisions**
* Partner closely with the **founders** to refine messaging, pricing, and positioning
* Become a **product expert** who can speak fluently about our AI agents, capabilities, and integrations
* Sell into **meetings & events teams, people teams, executive assistants, and agencies** across mid-market and enterprise organizations
* Build and refine our **sales playbook, pipeline, and CRM workflows**
* Help define what **great sales** looks like at Nowadays from day one

* Experience closing deals in a **B2B SaaS** environment (ideally SMB → mid-market)
* Comfort managing a **high-velocity outbound motion** (70–100 client touchpoints per day)
* Ability to sell a product that’s **still evolving**
* Strong **product intuition** and the ability to tailor messaging by persona
* A scrappy, proactive mindset—you’re not afraid of ambiguity
* Genuine enjoyment in **building relationships** and helping customers succeed

**Comp:** $80K – $120K base ($160K – $240K OTE) + 0.1% – 0.5% equity (flexible based on experience)\
**Location:** In-person, San Francisco
