Position Summary

The Lead Infrastructure Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, architecting, and delivering secure and scalable technology solutions for NUMA Networks clients. This role bridges engineering execution and architectural design, working closely with sales, project management, and technical teams to translate business needs into well-designed technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Design secure and scalable IT infrastructure solutions including network, cloud, identity, security, and endpoint platforms.

· Create technical architectures, diagrams, and implementation plans.

· Evaluate client environments and recommend modernization strategies.

· Lead technical execution of complex infrastructure and network projects.

· Provide architectural oversight to project engineers and technical teams.

· Support the sales team with technical discovery and solution design.

· Participate in technical assessments and solution proposals.

· Design and optimize NUMA’s internal technology stack and standards.

· Create documentation including architecture diagrams, solution designs, and runbooks.

Required Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering.

· 3+ years in a senior engineering or network design architect role.

· Strong experience with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID.

· Experience designing enterprise networks including firewalls, switching, routing, and VPN technologies.

· Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.

· Strong documentation and architecture diagram creation skills.

· Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills.

Preferred (not required) Qualifications

· Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

· Experience with SASE or Zero Trust architectures.

· Familiarity with Fortinet, Aruba, Cisco, or other enterprise networking platforms.

· Knowledge of security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, CMMC, or SOC2.

· Industry certifications such as Microsoft Azure Architect, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, or CISSP.

Compensation

Estimated Salary Range depending on experience. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses, benefits, and professional development support.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
