  • Build benchmarking and evaluation harnesses to measure data quality and system performance
  • Own services end to end from design through deployment and operation
  • Improve robustness against upstream change, edge cases, and data drift
  • Collaborate with product and engineering partners to integrate data into production workflows

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong backend leaning technical generalist comfortable owning systems end to end
  • Experience building or operating production ingestion systems or data pipelines
  • Fluency in Python and SQL with pragmatic infrastructure experience
  • Track record working with messy real world data and delivering reliable systems
  • Builder mindset with preference for simple, robust solutions
  • Comfortable operating with ownership and ambiguity in a small, fast moving team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with information extraction, search, or graph structured data
  • Exposure to ML or AI assisted data workflows
  • Experience with data quality monitoring, anomaly detection, and evaluation
  • Full stack capability for internal tools or data interfaces

We're particularly interested in people who've operated recently at a Head of/Staff level but are excited about advances in AI so would be interested in getting back into an Individual Contributor capacity.
