NDT Assistant Technician
Role summary
Olsson is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant Technician to perform routine field and laboratory testing under direct supervision. This role involves assisting with specialized testing to evaluate material and structural integrity, analyzing results, preparing reports, and managing project files. The technician will also be responsible for transporting equipment, identifying safety hazards, and working in various environmental conditions. Qualifications include the ability to pass safety exams, lift 50 pounds, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret technical documents. A degree in NDT or construction experience is preferred. The role requires obtaining Level II NDT certification and AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification.

Job Description
The nondestructive testing (NDT) assistant technician role is an entry-level position that performs a variety of routine field inspection and testing assignments that strengthen knowledge and experience with nondestructive testing staff, methods, practices, and programs while under direct supervision. This position assists with comprehensive specialized testing that evaluates the quality, integrity, and safety of materials and structures.
