Software Engineer
Role summary
Omega EDI is seeking a talented full-stack engineer with a front-end emphasis to join their growing SaaS company in the auto glass repair and replacement industry. The role involves designing, implementing, and deploying features across both front-end (TypeScript, React) and back-end (PHP, MySQL) technologies. Key responsibilities include API design, testing, documentation, and contributing to product strategy. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 1 year on a large TypeScript project, and experience with Test Driven Development (TDD). This is a hybrid role with a strong emphasis on individual empowerment, initiative, and teamwork.

About the Role
As our business has scaled so has our service offering. We need a talented full-stack engineer to join our software engineering team and to own services and features set in our flagship Point of Sale product. We are looking for a full-stack engineer with an emphasis on front-end skills.
*Our team is currently working a hybrid schedule - Tue/Thu are in-office days, other days are optional in office or work from home.*
You Will:
- Design, implement, and deploy features and fixes to meet real challenges faced by our users
- Work across both front and back-end technologies (Primarily TypeScript, React, PHP, and MySQL)
- Create, test, and document features and APIs
- Help define the future of our products and features as we expand in to new markets
- Collaborate across the company to define, design, build and improve business and technical processes
- Have a strong sense of ownership
You Have:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- At least 1 year of experience working on a large TypeScript project
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with web API design and best practices
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly
- Deep knowledge of front-end development (we use React+TypeScript)
- A Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
