Role summary
OneDine is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect / Site Reliability Engineer to design, manage, and ensure the high availability (99.99% uptime) and scalability of their production SaaS platform. This role involves architecting and operating AWS environments, implementing robust monitoring and incident response, managing security and compliance, and integrating AI services. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of AWS experience, proven SaaS uptime management, and expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform/CDK). Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and AI/LLM integration is preferred. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the DFW area.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a senior AWS expert to own the architecture, reliability, and scalability of our production SaaS platform. This role will design and operate a high-availability cloud environment (targeting 99.99% uptime) while enabling AI-driven features using AWS-native services. The role requires the individual reside in the DFW area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage highly available AWS environments across multiple AZs
- Own load balancing, compute (EC2/ECS/EKS), and auto-scaling
- Ensure fault tolerance and redundancy
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Manage security, IAM, and compliance
- Architect databases and caching layers
- Integrate AI services (Bedrock) into production systems
- Build CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Optimize performance and cost
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years AWS experience
- Proven SaaS uptime management (99.9%+)
- Strong EC2, VPC, RDS/DynamoDB experience
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform/CDK)
- Monitoring and incident response
Preferred Experience:
- Kubernetes (EKS)
- AI/LLM integration
- High-scale SaaS systems

Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $180,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
