Success in the first year will be measured by a defined market entry strategy, actionable user behavior insights, a validated feature list, a scalable monetization strategy, and a prioritized product development plan.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a strategic, data-savvy Product Manager to drive innovation and guide the evolution of oolu’s technology platform. In this role, you’ll own the full product lifecycle—from uncovering user needs and analyzing market trends to shaping the roadmap and optimizing platform engagement. You’ll refine monetization strategies, deliver actionable insights to inform marketing and brand-building efforts, and ensure oolu’s solutions strike the perfect balance between technical excellence and business impact. Your ability to translate complex data into clear priorities will be key to reducing development risks and delivering products that delight users and fuel growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
User Research & Usability Testing
- Conduct in-depth interviews and usability testing sessions with early adopters, including business clients and fractional executive leaders.
- Design and implement surveys, feedback tools, and other methods to uncover desired features, pain points, and unmet needs.
- Evaluate onboarding flows, feature layouts, and in-platform prompts to improve engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Monitor key metrics including account creation, onboarding completion, feature usage, repeat usage, successful placements, and referrals.
- Identify disengagement points and map user drop-off points in onboarding and talent-matching processes.
- Leverage customer support calls and inquiries to uncover product issues and user pain points, translating these insights into actionable improvements for the development team.
Monetization & Pricing Strategy
- Design and test various pricing models, including subscriptions, pay-per-match, and feature-based billing.
- Interview active users to understand which features drive perceived value and willingness to pay.
- Analyze conversion and retention data to refine monetization strategies aligned with the platform’s value proposition.
Product Roadmap Development
- Synthesize insights from research, analytics, and customer support to prioritize high-impact features.
- Evaluate and identify features based on user value, technical feasibility, and revenue potential.
- Develop a data-driven product roadmap balancing near-term enhancements with long-term innovation and vision.
Marketing & Branding
- Collaborate with marketing teams to craft compelling, research-backed messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Test and refine value propositions, marketing campaigns, and brand positioning with early adopters to optimize impact.
- Partner with design and communications teams to ensure product branding is consistent, engaging, and aligned with company vision.
- Leverage customer insights to create content strategies that support thought leadership and market credibility.
Market Readiness & Go-to-Market Support
- Use platform data to identify and prioritize high-potential customer segments (e.g., startups, scale-ups, enterprise tech firms).
- Provide research-driven insights to support market positioning and partnership development.
- Support the launch of new features through coordinated marketing, branding, and user adoption campaigns.

- A defined, data-backed market entry strategy
with messaging tailored to resonate with fractional executives and target business audiences.
- Actionable insights into user behavior
to guide platform improvements that boost engagement and retention, supported by a detailed user journey and key performance metrics.

with 2–3 recommended revenue models, focused on technical feasibility and customer value.
- A prioritized product development plan
backed by evidence and aligned with both market demand and technical capabilities.
THE INDIVIDUAL
Given the pivotal role this individual will be expected to play in achieving the strategic objectives of the company and in supporting the success of the organization, it is essential that the successful candidate possess the following core competencies, experience, and attributes:
Education
- Post secondary education in business, marketing, or equivalent education/certification in product management is required.
Experience
- 3–5 years of product management experience in the technology sector, with strong technical acumen.
- Proven ability to lead the full product lifecycle using agile methodologies, from concept to launch and optimization.
- Expert in user research, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making to guide product strategy.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration to align development, design, and marketing teams around shared goals.
