Location: Hybrid, New York
Salary: Up to $350,000 + Equity
Industry: Healthcare / AI Infrastructure / Data Platforms
Who You’ll Join:
Join an AI-native healthcare provider that is rebuilding the administrative backbone of home health so agencies can spend more time on care and less on paperwork. The team is building an AI-driven operations platform that automates workflows like insurance verification, prior authorization, and billing instead of just selling software into existing agencies. Backed by top-tier investors and a ~20-person team with deep experience across healthcare operations, applied AI, and complex workflow automation, this is a high-exposure role working closely with founders and leadership.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines integrating EMRs, EDI feeds, internal systems, and third-party APIs into a unified data layer.
- Develop and manage data infrastructure using modern data warehouses (Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery) and relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Model complex healthcare domains including RCM workflows, clinical operations, and intake processes into clean, analytics-ready schemas.
- Build analytics, alerting, and dashboards to surface opportunities for automation and process improvement across operations.
- Contribute to the technical direction of the business intelligence platform and scale data infrastructure as volumes and AI workloads grow.
- Over time, take end-to-end ownership of the data platform, setting the technical vision and enabling data-driven product and business decisions.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining data pipelines, warehouses, and analytics infrastructure in production.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one modern data warehouse (Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery) plus relational databases like Postgres or MySQL.
- Comfortable with statistical analysis, exploratory data analysis, and using Python or R to solve business problems.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Airflow, dbt, Dagster, or similar.
- Able to translate technical data concepts for non-technical stakeholders and partner effectively with Product and Engineering.
- Preferred: experience in healthcare technology and standards (EDI, HL7, FHIR, claims, clinical documentation), real-time or streaming pipelines, ML feature engineering, and BI tools like Hex or Sigma.
Tech Stack:
AWS, Terraform
Why You’ll Thrive:
- Work in an AI-native provider model where agentic AI sits at the core of operations, not as a bolt-on feature.
- Tackle high-stakes problems in home health and aging care, directly reducing administrative waste so clinicians can spend more time with patients.
- Operate in a small, well-backed team where you work closely with founders and have real influence on product, metrics, and operational strategy.
- Help agencies lower overhead and accelerate payments while improving access and reliability of care for patients and families.
