Optimize Wealth Management is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer for their Toronto-based tech team. This full-time, on-site role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the company's wealth management platform. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, collaborating with Product Managers and other developers, participating in code reviews, and resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of 3 years of software development experience, and proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java) and front-end/back-end technologies (React, Angular). Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and familiarity with Agile methodologies are also required.

Optimize Wealth Management is a premier portfolio management firm that believes technology can make financial management simpler, more transparent, and more cost-effective. We are looking for a skilled Developer to help build and maintain our cutting-edge wealth management platform.

The opportunity:
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Web Developer to join our Toronto-based tech team. You will be responsible for writing clean, high-quality code and collaborating with Product Managers and other developers to build and enhance our software products. This is a full-time, on-site role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).

Key responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications for the Optimize platform.
Work with Product Managers to define and refine feature requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
Experience with front-end (e.g., React, Angular) and/or back-end technologies.
Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
