Role summary

Orion Groups is seeking a Senior Healthcare Program Manager for a 6-month contract-to-hire, fully remote position. The role involves partnering with Application and Technical Portfolios to ensure strategic development of enterprise initiatives, with accountability for governance and oversight of business outcomes through project oversight and executive relationships. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of strategic program management experience and 10+ years of large-scale complex project implementation experience in clinical solutions, with expertise in EHR systems and healthcare operations. Strong financial acumen and experience with PMO improvement and capacity planning are also required.

OVERVIEW

At Orion, we are seeking a Senior Healthcare Program Manager to partner with the Application and Technical Portfolios to ensure business requirements are strategically developed for enterprise initiatives. Accountable for governance and oversight of intended business outcomes through the means of project oversight, team/executive relationships and ensuring successful outcomes are achieved.

OPPORTUNITY

6-month Contract-to-Hire; Fully Remote with occasional travel (

)

SALARY

$160,000 – $170,000 W2 plus benefits

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Portfolio Owner from ideation to implementation (business initiatives, values, business case, KPI definition & Collection, financial, implementation, KPI Collections)
  • End-to-End ownership and accountability of clinical programs and strategic
  • Cross-Project coordination, dependency management, and strategic alignment with outcome-driven, focusing on strategic results and delivering business value
  • Thought leadership and the capability to make decisions that guide teams through challenges to accomplish successful outcomes
  • Charter new areas and responsibilities as the organization evolves to meet business goals
  • Provide governance over delivery managers of service lines
  • Capacity planning of demands and incoming projects to ensure programs are aligned with company strategy, resource constraints, and operational priorities
  • Strong financial acumen and capability to budget and forecast large capital initiatives
  • Delivery Manager assignment, prioritization, and recruitment of FTEs/contractors
  • Drives a behavior of transparency, urgency, results, and escalation as appropriate
  • Champion PMO improvement as the change agent leader in ideation, alignment, implementation, and adoption

KEY EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of strategic program management experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on large scale and complex project implementation experience focused on clinical solutions used to deliver care to patients
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
  • Expertise in EHR systems
  • Awareness of state and federal healthcare regulatory requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
