Intern - Data Analyst
Role summary
OverDrive is seeking a Data Analyst Intern for the Summer of 2026 to assist with data discovery, mining, and transformation. The intern will perform deep dives into lead activity, collaborate on building a multi-channel attribution model, and evaluate marketing campaign performance. Responsibilities also include processing title matching, author profiling, and conducting business analysis to identify opportunities for value creation. This hybrid role requires current enrollment in undergraduate or graduate coursework and is located in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area.

Internship Details:
- This position will require you to be located in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area.
- You must be currently enrolled in either undergraduate or graduate level coursework to qualify as an intern.
- We are in a hybrid schedule, 2 days in the office and 3 days work from home.
- Interns are responsible for securing their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship. OverDrive does not provide housing assistance or relocation support.

Responsibilities:
- Perform data discovery, mining and transformation to help keep OverDrive’s data environments clean and accurate.
- Deep dive into MQL/SQL lead activity and campaign assignments. Find successes and pain points.
- Collaborate in building a multi-channel attribution model for marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct research to identify successful activities in Sales playbooks. Utilize those learnings when developing a marketing nurture stream.
- Evaluate marketing campaign performance and budget management.
- Processing title matching for OneCreation and author profiling for OneAuthor.
- Conducting a thorough business analysis of the subscription portfolio; Identify opportunities to achieve more value.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships.
- Able to communicate effectively and appropriately with client contacts, outside vendors / contractors, and internal staff.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Confident and energetic; professional and team oriented.
- Flexible; ability to respond quickly to changes in project scope or timelines.
- Reliable transportation (car, bus, carpool).
