Overtown Youth Center is seeking a strategic and mission-driven Elementary School Program Manager of Youth Development and Impact (Central Region) to join our team. This role is ideal for a dynamic, organized, and student-centered leader who excels in program management and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The Elementary School Program Manager plays a critical leadership role in advancing OYC Miami’s mission to inspire, empower, and enrich the lives of youth and families. Reporting to the Senior Director of Youth Development and Impact, this position oversees the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of elementary school programming, ensuring alignment with OYC Miami’s five pillars of impact and organizational standards of excellence.

The Program Manager provides direct supervision and mentorship to program coordinators, teachers, and designated staff, ensuring program fidelity, operational effectiveness, and measurable student outcomes. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, a commitment to high-quality youth development practices, and the ability to cultivate safe, engaging, and transformative learning environments. This individual also serves as a key liaison between OYC Miami, schools, community partners, and families, ensuring programming remains responsive, impactful, and aligned with community needs while embodying OYC’s Core Values of Competency, Humility, Accountability, Intentionality, and Adaptability.

Requirements:

What You Would Do:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Elementary School Program, ensuring high-quality, outcomes-driven programming aligned with OYC Miami’s mission and pillars of impact.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop program coordinators, teachers, and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
  • Ensure strong program fidelity, consistent curriculum implementation, and engaging, student-centered learning experiences.
  • Oversee daily program operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation, to ensure effective and seamless execution.
  • Manage and enhance curriculum-based programming, ensuring alignment with best practices in youth development and academic enrichment.
  • Lead staff onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of performance and program delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, contractual, and organizational requirements, including safety protocols and incident reporting procedures.
  • Monitor student enrollment, attendance, and participation data to drive engagement, retention, and program effectiveness.
  • Oversee data collection, reporting, and evaluation of key program metrics to support continuous improvement and outcomes measurement.
  • Serve as a key liaison between OYC Miami, schools, families, and community partners to ensure strong collaboration and impactful programming.
  • Support student success by connecting youth and families to appropriate resources, services, and interventions.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience working with youth programs, preferably in educational or nonprofit settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program data systems.
  • Flexibility is required (hours, job functions, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
