Role summary

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AI to design, architect, and deliver scalable, high-performance AI and trading applications. The role involves building robust, distributed systems using messaging technologies like Kafka/IBM MQ and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins & Flyway. This hybrid position requires working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business analysts, in the Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg area. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Core Java (v17), Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and SQL/Oracle performance tuning.

Work Setup:
Hybrid role (2 days onsite in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg)

Rate Offered: $70- $80/ hr
