Department Overview
The Procurement Organization includes a staff of more than 500 sourcing managers, buyers, analysts, materials planners, quality and strategy professionals, and warehouse personnel, along with a Supply Chain Responsibility team.
The Supply Chain Responsibility team’s mission is to deliver cost‑effective and valued procurement services through strategic, diverse, and sustainable business solutions. This work requires close collaboration with all functional areas, Finance, and suppliers.
The Supply Chain Responsibility Program includes supplier diversity, environmental sustainability, supplier code of conduct, and small business initiatives. The program drives responsibility, excellence, and innovation among suppliers and advances supply chain responsibility best practices within the industry. Program goals include increasing procurement of diverse, ethical, and environmentally preferable goods and services, collaborating with strategic suppliers to strengthen their supplier diversity and environmental performance, and supporting small businesses and subcontracting opportunities.
Position Summary
This Expert‑level individual contributor applies deep systems, regulatory, and program management expertise to lead complex operational and analytical functions within Supply Chain Responsibility. The role owns end‑to‑end execution of high‑impact initiatives, develops and governs enterprise metrics and dashboards, and serves as a subject matter expert across supplier diversity and regulatory compliance programs.
The position operates with significant autonomy, influences cross‑functional stakeholders, and provides advisory support to leadership by translating regulatory and operational requirements into scalable, auditable business processes that support PG&E’s commitment to an ethical, diverse, and environmentally sustainable supply chain.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland based on business needs or company requirements.
PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint . The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Key Responsibilities
Program & Initiative Leadership
Lead complex, multi‑year Supply Chain Responsibility initiatives requiring advanced planning, risk mitigation, and cross‑functional coordination. Own operational governance for assigned programs, ensuring sustained compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal policy requirements.
Analytics, Reporting & Decision Support
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards, metrics, and performance reporting across Supply Chain Responsibility programs. Ensure data integrity, auditability, and consistency across monthly and annual regulatory and executive reporting. Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and program stakeholders.
Supplier & Stakeholder Enablement
Manage the Prime Supplier Academy, including curriculum development and delivery for prospective and active suppliers. Develop and deliver Supply Chain Responsibility training for employees and suppliers to drive understanding, adoption, and compliance.
Regulatory & Risk Expertise
Research, interpret, and operationalize regulatory requirements impacting Supply Chain Responsibility programs. Establish regulatory response guidelines and educate team members and leadership on compliance exposure, findings, and mitigation strategies. Serve as a trusted advisor on regulatory risk and program readiness.
Enterprise Collaboration & Expertise
Act as a recognized subject matter expert across assigned domains. Influence without authority by partnering with Legal, Finance, Procurement, IT, and external stakeholders. Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance scalability, controls, and operational maturity.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 7 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain, program/project management, systems management, or related disciplines
Desired Qualifications
Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience with demonstrated ability to understand systems integration and business process design Expert‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience integrating data from SAP or comparable ERP systems Experience developing enterprise dashboards, KPIs, and data governance models Process improvement certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, Agile, CPSM, PMP) Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level presentations Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing initiatives, and lead complex workstreams High attention to detail with strong control and compliance orientation Demonstrated success influencing cross‑functional teams without direct authority Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
