About the Role

This role supports a newly formed engineering team focused on reducing production incidents and driving large‑scale automation across critical systems. You’ll work at the intersection of software engineering and production reliability, contributing to system stability, performance, and rapid issue resolution. Success in this role means delivering scalable automation, improving incident response, and helping shape the team’s technical standards from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance automation to reduce recurring production incidents
• Develop and maintain software, scripts, and tools for system reliability
• Monitor system performance using Dynatrace and other observability tools
• Support CI/CD workflows and release processes
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve system issues and improve reliability
• Contribute to infrastructure and cloud automation using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Software Engineering or Production Engineering
• Scripting and heavy automation skills
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools
• Proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, and CI/CD tools (Octopus)
• Java development experience
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, large‑scale environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large enterprise environments
• Salesforce experience
• Exposure to chaos engineering practices
• Background with complex release management workflows
