
TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER
Role summary
Peraton is seeking a Technical Program Manager to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects. This role serves as a liaison between project management, the project team, and line management, reviewing project status and budgets, managing schedules, and preparing status reports. The ideal candidate will assess project issues, develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals, and establish mechanisms for monitoring project progress and problem-solving with stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 8 years of experience is required, along with familiarity with COTS Applications, RDT&E environments, strong cybersecurity and system integration understanding, risk management expertise, and budget management skills. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is also mandatory.

##### ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team. This position oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, customers, and other stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
- Reviews status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepares status reports
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, customers, and other stakeholders
##### QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
- Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph (or ability to obtain SCI and pass polygraph).
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s +10 years relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Familiarity with COTS Applications, and related engineering, development, integration, and sustainment activities.
- Experience with Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) environments.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and logistics staff.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and system integration.
- Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks as part of a formal risk management program.
- Experience managing budgets, labor costs, and other direct costs, including travel and training.
Desired Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks independently
- Meets SLA response times under high-priority situations
- Strong written/verbal communication
##### DETAILS
Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
