About Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer to support our ongoing modernization journey, transforming legacy applications into a modern, cohesive, and visually compelling user experience. The ideal candidate will have strong visual design abilities, a refined sense of layout, and a deep understanding of design systems—including component specifications and detailed collaboration with development teams. This role requires working closely with platform teams, interpreting requirements from functional architects, and translating legacy UIs into our modern design framework with high fidelity and precision.

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with platform teams to redesign legacy application interfaces into a modernized UI framework.
- Translate functional and architectural requirements into intuitive, visually compelling user experiences.
- Apply strong visual design principles to create clean, scalable, and user-friendly layouts.
- Work extensively with design systems to define components, states, specifications, and usage guidelines.
- Partner closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interaction flows, and component documentation.
- Conduct UI audits of legacy systems and propose design improvements aligned with modernization goals.
- Ensure consistency across platforms by following and contributing to the established design system.
- Participate in design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold design quality standards.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Strong expertise in visual design, layout principles, typography, and UI aesthetics.
- Hands-on experience working with design systems, component libraries, and design specifications.
- Ability to collaborate closely with Engineering to bridge the gap between design intent and technical feasibility.
- Experience interpreting requirements from functional architects and translating them into design deliverables.
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience redesigning or modernizing legacy UIs (highly desirable).
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and UX best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present design rationale clearly to cross-functional teams
