Design Program Manager
Role summary
This is a 5-month temporary Design Program Manager role supporting an internal Brand Studio. You will partner closely with the brand design team to manage creative projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning through coordination, communication, and delivery. Responsibilities include overseeing engagements with external agency partners, aligning on scope, budget, resourcing, feedback, and timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will also communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and team members, and help maintain consistency and quality across design deliverables. Familiarity with tools like Notion, Figma, Slack, and Google Drive is required.
### Who you are
- 6+ years of experience in a design agency or in-house creative team environment
- The ability to self-direct in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple workstreams while keeping stakeholders aligned, and representing design in conversations as needed
- Comfort navigating ambiguity; able to bring structure to projects, set clear goals, help align feedback and adapt plans as needed to drive delivery
- Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to triage issues and focus on what matters most
- Familiarity with tools like Notion (how we track things) and Figma (for collaboration, feedback, and shareouts) Slack (how we communicate) and Google Drive
- Experience with website production, event-related work or working with Superside is a plus
### What the job involves
- Our internal Brand Studio supports a wide range of creative needs across marketing, HR, Product and Engineering — from our website and digital campaigns to event experiences, swag, and collateral and internal initiatives
- In this 5-month temporary role, you’ll partner closely with the brand design team to keep both internal and external projects running smoothly
- From shaping scopes and kickoffs to facilitating reviews, aligning feedback, and driving delivery, you’ll play a key role in helping the team produce high-quality work at scale
- Manage brand design projects end-to-end — from scoping and planning through coordination, communication, and delivery — ensuring work stays on track and within scope
- Oversee engagements between internal teams and external agency partners, aligning on scope and budget, resourcing, feedback, and timelines to ensure successful delivery
- Clearly communicate project status, risks, tradeoffs, and dependencies to stakeholders and team members
- Support strong creative outcomes by helping maintain consistency and quality across design deliverables
- Partner closely with Head of Brand Design to assess team bandwidth and project assignments
