Job Requirements
Phenom People is seeking a highly motivated and curious Associate Product Manager to join our Product team. As a leader in HR technology, Phenom is transforming how organizations attract, engage, and retain talent at scale.
As an Associate Product Manager, you will support the development and evolution of our product offerings by working closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Solutions teams. This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who is eager to learn, customer-focused, and excited to operate in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based at our headquarters in Ambler, PA.

*This role requires three (3) days per week in-office. Candidates must reside within fifty (50) miles of Ambler, PA. At this time, Phenom does not sponsor, transfer, or extend employment-based visas for this position, including H-1B, TN, or F-1 OPT.*
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and customer research to identify user needs, workflows, and industry trends
  • Embed with customers and internal partners (Sales, Solutions, Engineering) to translate ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable product needs
  • Support product discovery by validating use cases, identifying root problems, and framing opportunities based on customer value and business impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, user stories, and roadmap priorities
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to support timely, high-quality product delivery
  • Prototype, configure, or validate solutions using existing product capabilities to demonstrate value prior to full productization
  • Act as a feedback bridge between customer deployments and core product teams, contributing to PRDs and prioritization discussions
  • Track post-launch adoption and outcomes, identifying gaps and opportunities for iteration
  • Assist with product marketing materials and sales enablement content
  • Monitor product performance and competitor offerings to inform continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, software engineering, or a related technical role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience using Jira or similar product management tools
  • Passion for building customer-centric products and learning product craft

Work Experience – What You’ve Done

  • Post-secondary degree graduate aspiring to grow a career in product management
  • Academic or professional background in Data Science, Product Management, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field
  • Hands-on experience working with technical teams or software products

Salary
Expected salary range:
$70,000 – $90,000
