Role summary
We are seeking a skilled Software QA Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. This onsite role focuses on testing and validation for cutting-edge platforms, ensuring CI/CD quality, OEM compliance, and release readiness. Responsibilities include device setup and configuration, developing and executing various tests (functional, stress, power, performance), exploratory testing, bug triage, log analysis, and collaborating with BSP, OEM QA, and automation teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows BSP testing, UEFI flashing, KDNET debugging, and a strong understanding of power states and CI/CD pipelines.

We are looking for a skilled Software QA Engineer to support testing and validation across Internal and OEM configurations. This role focuses on ensuring CI/CD quality, OEM compliance, and release readiness for cutting-edge platforms.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Device Setup & Configuration
Flash builds onto Yukon boards and OEM devices
Configure UEFI, OS images, and KDNET for debugging
Enable crash dump collection and install SoC, GPU, and platform drivers
✔️ Testing & Automation
Develop and execute tests across functional, stress, power, and performance areas
Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and corner scenarios
✔️ Bug Triage & Debugging
Triage internal & OEM issues, track reproducibility
Collect logs, crash dumps, and assist in root cause analysis
✔️ Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with BSP, OEM QA, and automation teams
Coordinate with stakeholders for build readiness and issue resolution
Prepare and share test execution reports
🎯 Required Skills
Hands-on experience with Windows BSP testing & platform setup
Strong knowledge of UEFI flashing, KDNET debugging
Understanding of power states, hibernate, modern standby
Experience in bug triage, log analysis, and reporting
Prior experience with OEM device validation
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines & QA automation
Exposure to USB4, DP tunneling, and certification readiness
