Role summary
Pinterest Academy is seeking a Manager, Learning & Certification to lead the design, development, and execution of global learning and certification programs for advertisers and agencies. This people management role involves leading a team of instructional designers, overseeing diverse learning formats, and collaborating cross-functionally with product marketing, sales, L&D, and IT. The manager will be a subject matter expert, driving impact through strategic direction, best-in-class instructional design, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing and growing the team, designing and maintaining programs, overseeing certification launches, building partner relationships, leveraging data for improvement, staying current with industry trends (including AI), managing projects, and communicating program impact. The role requires 10+ years of experience in L&D or certification management, with at least 2 years in people management, and preferred experience in ad tech or digital media.

Pinterest Academy is seeking a Learning & Certification Program Manager to lead the design, development, and execution of high-impact learning and certification experiences for advertisers and agencies globally. This is a people management role, responsible for inspiring a team of instructional designers, overseeing a diverse portfolio that includes eLearning, certifications, webinars, video tutorials, and in-person training. You’ll work cross-functionally to identify learning needs, set strategic direction, and ensure our programs reflect best-in-class instructional design, industry trends, and business goals. This is a highly cross-functional role with key stakeholders in product marketing, sales, learning & development, and IT. This position will serve as a thought partner and subject matter expert within the business marketing team, driving tremendous impact alongside a small and scrappy team.
