Apprentice Engineer
Role summary
Pinterest is seeking candidates for its Apprenticeship Program, designed for individuals from non-tech backgrounds or those facing entry barriers into the industry. This up to one-year paid apprenticeship offers a full-time, onsite experience working alongside engineers and cross-functional teams on high-impact projects. Apprentices will be paired with a mentor, leverage AI in their workflow for coding and documentation, and participate in learning and development opportunities. The program requires proficiency in at least one programming language and familiarity with AI as a productivity tool. Candidates should be self-motivated and eager to learn about engineering at Pinterest. This role is for US-based applicants legally authorized to work full-time in the US.

The Pinterest Apprenticeship Program is an opportunity for professionals from non-tech backgrounds and those who may face barriers of entry into the industry to experience Engineering at Pinterest. Apprenticeships are up to one year long with the opportunity to be considered for conversion to a full-time Engineer. While programs can be up to one year in length, employment throughout the program is at will, and there is no guarantee on the specific length of the program.

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.

The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $9,350 - $11,000 monthly.
