Red Team Security Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a remote Red Team Security Engineer to join a worldwide organization. This role focuses on reverse engineering, penetration testing, and security assessments of products. Responsibilities include identifying security gaps, modeling attacks, providing mitigations, and collaborating with product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of product security research experience, a strong understanding of reverse engineering, and experience testing web applications, APIs, user interfaces, and embedded devices. Piper Companies is seeking an Red Team Security Engineer for an award winning world wide organization. The Red Team Security Engineer member will be remote working EST hours. The Red Team Security Engineer will be focused on reverse engineering, penetration testing, and security assessments of all products.
Responsibilities for the Red Team Security Engineer include:
- Identify security gaps in critical systems, model prototype attacks, and provide solutions and mitigations
- Work closely with various product teams / engineering teams to further discuss security research identified
- Perform penetration testing, risk analysis, and security assessments
Requirements for the Red Team Security Engineer include:
- US Citizenship is required
- 3+ years of product security research experience
- Strong understanding of reverse engineering
- Web applications, APIs, user interfaces, and embedded device testing experience
- Strong passions for security, tearing apart products, and finding vulnerabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
Compensation of the Red Team Security Engineer:
$115,000 - $185,000
- FTE position, Full Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
